Wie der Name schon sagt, handelt es sich hierbei um einen hoffnungsvollen Hubrecht-Sohn. Auch wenn er die Hornlosigkeit der Mutter nicht weitervererben kann, dürfte er eine Bereicherung für die Rinderzucht sein. Hopeful lässt eine hohe Milchleistung und eine Spitzen-Fitness in allen Einzelmerkmalen erwarten. Exterieurmäßig scheint er rahmige Tiere mit guter Bemuskelung und stabilen Fundamenten zu bringen. Die Eutervererbung dürfte auch gefallen, ganz besonders die längeren und kräftigeren Strichen.
